Proofreading

We’re all familiar with having read and re-read our own work a dozen times over, only for someone else to pick it up and say, “Shouldn’t ‘February’ have a capital?” or, “Are you sure that’s how you spell ‘vacuum’?”

No one ever intentionally makes a typo, or confuses “your” and “you’re” (or, God forbid, “ur”). But small errors like these not only look bad, they can affect a grade, take the gloss off an otherwise perfect presentation, or, worse still, lose you business.

Menus, brochures, assignments, websites, signage, price lists, letters, presentations - they can all be adversely affected by spelling and grammatical errors.

In professional and legal documents in particular, errors can also alter the meanings of sentences or render the entire thing invalid.

It’s worth having another pair of fresh, experienced eyes look over it just in case, don’t you think?
